Our Story
Sashey's Kitchen was born from a love of authentic Jamaican home cooking. Our recipes have been passed down through generations, capturing the true spirit of the island in every bite — slow-braised oxtails, jerk seasoned to fire-kissed perfection, golden fried plantains, and coconut-scented rice and peas.
Today we serve Union, Hillside, Elizabeth, Irvington, and Springfield from our spot on Burnet Avenue. We cater private parties, corporate events, weddings, and community events across northern New Jersey. Every dish is made fresh daily with the finest spices from the islands.
